#2?Posted in thread: Bottling beer in wine bottles - has anybody tried it? on 03-23-2013 at 05:53 AM
Yes, Champagne & Sparking wine bottles are designed for high pressure, more than most beer

By longer sugars, u means longer carbs that are not as long as starch But not as short as
simple sugars. Is there any reason recirculating would hinder this conversion?Posted in thread: Cheap compact wort pump on 03-07-2013 at 06:05 PM
So is this black 20 dollar pump decent?Depends on what you're trying to do. If its
transferring, pushing a plate chiller, recirculating, the $20 pumps seem to be enough. If its
for whirlpooling, it se...Posted in thread: Recirculating Mash Question on 03-07-2013 at 06:02 PM

Depends on what you plan to use it for. I have 2 1500W elements (one in kettle and one in RIMS
tube). I was using them both to get my wort to boil and the pump started flaking out. I thought
I had thi...Posted in thread: 5 Borough(NYC)Bulk Grain Buy on 02-10-2013 at 04:33 PM
I can't wait till the next group buy.. Since I missed out on this one.Posted in thread: Rock hard DME on 02-08-2013 at 07:18 PM
So earlier today I had a dme brick that I laboriously broke up. A solid brick, not powdery in
the middle. Hammer blows were not very effective so I used a combination of a chisel and drill
with a scre...
