  • Started brewing a few years ago and went nuts with it! At the same time however I was conducting bass tournaments with equal madness, so I got burned out and stopped brewing just over 2 years ago...but I'm back! Sold my AG stuff,going to do it the simple way for a bit ....rnAnd...now... 5 years later I could type all that almost verbaitum! I'm back again!

  • Son gave me a True Brew kit about 10 years ago. Quite quickly built brewing structure and went all grain. Burned out and lost interest just over 2 years ago. Now on kitchen stove with extract and extract with grains.

    Rather than using a wire coat hanger to try to push a string with a loop in it around the
    bottom end, how about something similar to this...

    I really have not brewed enough of any one style to tire of it, but what homebrewing has done
    for me is to help me define what it is I like in a beer so I have become fussier when I do buy

    Can you go buy another lid that has a gasket? If you're waiting for a keg, you must have
    co2...could you blanket your brew with it and then put the new sanitized lid on? Or maybe do
    the same with a BB...
