Laredo, that is some really beautiful work. I used to know a guy who made Damascus knives and
swords. I have always liked the look and appreciated the craftsmanship. Very nice. (I really
    envy people w...

I use spring clamps and bungies but they take lots of adjusting to get them set properly. I
have an auto siphon that has a holder/gripper thing that does not work so well on the AS. I am
    thinking of t...

Funny, I prefer the brushes. I just lost one and was debating the caps. I spray the brush with

  • Posted in thread: Keg Hopping question on 10-05-2016 at 01:35 AM
I used fresh, homegrown Cascade hops in my last brew. (9/11). I just racked to my kegs and I'm
afraid I may not have gotten much hop flavor aroma from the hops. (there was some bitterness
    though) Non ...

Thanks Quaker, I was thinking I'd use around 1 or 2% as a supplement to some rye malt in a
Scottish or an Irish Ale. Maybe it would be better left alone.Siberian, I found it here: It

I'm just curious. Has anyone used this malt? In what style of beer was it used? And in what
proportion? Could you taste it in the brew? The description says it has a licorice

  • Posted in thread: Why do you make 10G batches? on 07-12-2016 at 12:06 AM
oujens, like many others I brew 10G batch. I started because I didn't get to brew as often as I
wanted to. But, 10-gal. of one style was too much of any style of beer unless it was for a
    function. I f...
