  • Daughter got me my first kit Dec. 2010. Extract experimentation at this point. Brewing for flavor and taste, not for style.
  • Getting ready to do a wheat...NB kit Bavarian Hefe.

Not worried about style so I'm going to experiment with citrus and honey.
  • Dawson's Multi-Grain with additions: Changed hop profile to 1oz Willamette at 60 1/2 oz Willamette at 15 and 1/2 oz EKG (whole) at flameout. 1/4 cup clover honey at 30. 6oz caramelized brown sugar at 15. Primed with 1 cup caramelized cane sugar.

    Drinking now...not my best work.

Correction after 2 months in bottle....Nice beer! Balanced malt and hops. Smells great and holds a good head with lace. Should have left it alone instead of drinking. I only have 12 left.....

Nut Brown. Experimenting with molasses and quick oats. OG to 1.052. FG @ 1.012 Aging nicely.

carbonation.......if it is colder than that, move it to a warmer climate.
