Is there any real problem with taking a cold-crashed starter out of the fridge and letting it
set at room temperature for a couple of days before using it? Mine is in an erlenmeyer flask
with tin foil...

Thanks for replies. when I said a 2L starter I was referring to the size of the flask, sorry.
The only reason I wanted to downsize the container is because that flask takes up a lot of room
in my litt...

I made a starter that I stepped up to 2 liters (about 1.5 liters actual volume) then
cold-crashed it. I don't plan to use it for a week or so. What I would like to do is decant
most of the liquid off ...
