I made a Czech pils a couple weeks ago that used a quarter pound of hobby malt and it's
definitely noticeable. I would at least reduce it to half a pound.Try measuring out a 100
grains of malt that is...

That's a lot of honey malt... Combined with the honey I fear you may turn into a bee from the
massive honey flavor.

So I just brewed up a wit using a PM:1 pound 6 row.5 pound carafa special.75 pound terrified
wheat.5 pound oatsThen added 7.5 punds wheat lme.1 oz crystal hops at 60 (2.5 %).25 citra at 60

It's a tie...1) Harpoon Winter Warmer in 2008. I was at my local college bar which had 32 ounce
mugs and you could select from 40 beers on tap. I figured it being cold outside warranted one

My "HWMBO" wasn't a beer drinker before I met him, but he sure as heck is a lot more
knowledgeable now. He still prefers wine over a hoppy beer, but in general he's very supportive
