  • Posted in thread: Stout on Nitro only, not beergas. No cascade or cream? on 03-28-2012 at 04:11 AM
My understanding was that the tiny bubbles came from the nitrogen coming out of the beer. If
nitrogen doesn't dissolve into beer, that would seem not to be the case.Don't the tiny bubbles
    come from th...

Isn't the concern with carb tabs in this situation that they could provide nucleation sites for
the CO2 already in solution? You could have a Diet Coke + Mentos scenario on your hands adding
    carb tabs...

Schwelmer Pils and it's cheap. My bar sold a bunch for $3.50 I think, and I took home the

I would think nothing would happen. Just let it thaw out. The head pressure in the keg would go

    they could ...

I may have figured something out.Does PBW require rinsing?Yes. With as warm or warmer water
than whatever temp the PBW solution was at. That would be an easy fix if it were your problem!

  • Posted in thread: Accurate Volumes of CO2 on 12-15-2011 at 10:19 PM
I thought when it comes to cooling - if your controller set point is 42 with a differential of
4, then the temp will range from 42 to 46. Not 38 to 42.According to my A419 manual (see figure
    7), when ...

This question is probably more academic than practical, but here goes:I'm using a Johnson A419
temp controller on my newly finished keezer. I have the set point at 42*F with a differential
    of 4*, whic...

Airgas but have WAY lower pricing. 20lb refill is $16-20$ i believe and 50lbs is
    $28-$30(depending on region)...
