It's in a bucket so I can't see krausen. I'm not at a point that I can smell yeast working (how
does that work?). The only way for me to tell is by the dormant airlock.

I brewed an American pale ale on Saturday. Pitched the yeast around 72 degrees. 36 hours
later...nothing. This is supposed to be a fast starting yeast. How long do I wait before re
    pitching? 36 hours ...

So I brewed an American Pale Ale today and since I have a beer in my carboy, decided to use a
bucket to ferment it. I've used buckets before but am not sure if that bucket will let in bad
    light? Will ...

It's working great now. I just smelled a faint beer smell coming from the Coolbrew bag its
fermenting in and it's going to town! It was very slow going though at first. Krausen looks

    Nottingham yeast...

Ok. I'm not really worried about it but it didn't look like most krausen I've seen. Those
looked thicker and more "nasty" to me. This is just clean looking. Maybe that means I'm doing
    it right. lol.

This is more of a foam on top. Does this look right? Nottingham ale yeast and fermenting around
64-67 degrees in the cool brew bag. Just looks like someone shook my carboy up and there is
    foam on top....
