Just an update on this. Just drunk the last bottle; it turned out great :)

I'm currently doing a brown ale. The OG was 1.045 and the FG is supposed to be 1.010-1.012. It
had a good thick layer of foam on top for the first few days (we started it last Tuesday), I'd
    say the am...

It's carbonated fairly well at the moment as I've had a few small bottles to test. The
instructions are below; I actually had to refer to a previous set of instructions for the
    temperature of a 'cool ...

I've recently finished a batch of homebrew (bottled 2 weeks ago) and it said that once bottled,
to store in in a warm place for a few days, then a cool place. It didn't specify a temperature,
    but I re...

I've basically wrapped them heavily in bin bags, and they're also in groups in smallish boxes,
plus covered with a duvet, so if any of them decide the pressure is too much, it shouldn't ruin
    the carpe...

I decided to bottle my Woodfordes Wherry in the early hours (so I wouldn't be dominating the
kitchen all day), and I've pretty much just finished, however, I noticed in the very late
    stages of bottlin...

So yours were at about 73-77F for a few days and mine are a bit cooler than that.Either way
you had no problems with the glass bottles though during this bottling of your first batch? They
    were stiff ...

Thanks again for your help, everyone. The beer came out very nicely and is now nearly all gone
    :(

I used a mixture of glass and plastic bottles to bottle my first brew, all the plastic bottles
got stiff rather quickly, and got stiffer and stiffer, to the point where I could get no flex
    at all, all...
