Just heard from one of the Piedmont Brewers Cup judges that there is a homebrew club forming

Congrats, you will not regret the move to kegging if you aren't patient about carbonating your
beer I would recommend get a Stone, they do a great job, well worth the money.

I like adding it at the last 5-10 minutes of the boil, it allows for it to be integrated with
the wort and kills any potential bacteria off. Haven't heard any issues from adding it sooner,
but I can't...

orj, patience is often a homebrewers best friend, well besides beer of course. Give it another

Off flavors can in theory be produced but because the yeast has already done most of the heavy
lifting I wouldn't worry about it. The beer will be fine.
