  • Posted in thread: When will 2014 New Zealand hops come out? on 06-20-2014 at 05:21 PM
I shot a message to the NZ hop trade group and they told me that NZ hops are on their way to N.
America right now. Australian hops are just showing up too. Fresh 2014 Galaxy at Yakima Valley

I love this product. Unfortunately I think my pump died. It is still making noise but no longer
pumping water. A couple of small, white plastic pieces have come out of it so I think it is

  • Posted in thread: Using a lager yeast for a brett beer on 05-29-2014 at 06:04 PM
I attended a New Belgium 'Sour Symposium' last week. The blender of their sour beers (I forget

I fermented a DIPA at 72 with this yeast and had no off-flavors. Very clean still and the

I agree on using Pilsner as the base if possible. Otherwise I think it is good. You may
consider adding Wyeast 3711 at the end if you have trouble finishing it off.Sent from my iPhone

I've used WLP002/WY1968 many, many times in IPA and other hoppy beers. It is an outstanding all
around yeast. I would probably prefer not to use it in a west coast style IPA. The yeast does

since so many people went with the harbor freight drill above...I was wondering if it had
enough oomph to start the mill with grain in it, or if you had to start the mill first, and
    then add your grai...
