  • Have been in the SCA for many years and was introduced to Mead at one of the Pennsic Wars many years ago. Always thought it was going to be too hard to make myself. When my boyfriend mentioned his interest in brewing I was thrilled. He started with beer, but for many different reasons decided that was not the way for us to go. We started researching mead and once we found a good honey supplier the rest is history. We transformed a room into our "Meadery" about 2 years ago. Now we are working on figuring out why we never seem to have enough carboys. :)

    minimum of 2 years before it's really ready, and (I think) benefits from some residual
