Sounds like a smart move to me. I've wondered about the robustness of the pump head. I'm
surprised we don't hear about broken heads more often.I've been thinking about getting a pump
    and putting it in...

I'm really liking this setup, Sacc. I've been debating my next move for a while and this has
given me serious food for thought.I've got a 10 gal cooler MLT and a converted sanke pot that

Well, I was about 7 low, but I think the grain and tun was colder than I told Beersmith. I had
left it out in the garage since Friday and it's been in the low 30s overnight, 50 during the
    day. I had t...

Did any of you who tried using real pumpkin in the mash have any issues hitting your temps due
to the mass of the pumpkin? I'm using ~90oz of canned pumpkin with another 12# or so of grain
    in a 6 gall...

Did any of you who tried the AG version make any temperature adjustments for the pumpkin in the
mash? I'm afraid I will miss my temp due to the large, unaccounted for mass of
    pumpkin...Starter is bubb...

Unlike bottles and cans however, storage and shelf-life does require refrigeration.Naturally
the article breezes right by this drawback. If it IS sealed like a bottle or can would be, why
    is refrigera...
