Agreed. 10-gal cooler is the way to go. If you buy from Lowes or Home Depot, they have a
version with the store name on it that costs nearly $20 less than the standard Igloo or

If it doesn't say STC-1000 on it, it could very well be the similar single stage unit. If so,

Whatever you do, don't try to put your wort through a paint strainer after cooling. Iwound up
