  • I got in to home brewing early summer of 2009. I bought a Mr. beer with 24 long neck bottles and a capper for $3.99 at salvation Army. brewed up some apfilwein and a few other fruit wines and am ready to start up some beers now.
  • a west coast pale ale with chocolate grain added and more hops
  • watermelon wine,
    blueberry wine,
    strawberry wine
  • some very dry strong apple wine.

    I was pouring so gently in the past that I was not getting any head at all... now with my new
    pouring technic I atleast get head on my beer...I guess I should be glad the SWMBO lets me

    I think rogue filters the Dead guy so that would have been my guess for the slow start.The
    Rogue John John Ale has a very think layer of sludge on the bottom that I would assume is
    yeast.

    the wyeast pack may be cheaper.. but you get double the pleasure out of drinking a six pack of
    rogue beer and harvesting the yeast...enjoying great beer to get great yeast sounds better to
