My wife got me a Mr. Beer kit for my birthday last year. I did about three of those before I went into making my own extract-2 gal batches. I learned alot and made a few mistakes. After my 5th total batch I upgraded to 5 gal partial/tea batches.

Lately I have been getting to the partial mash stage which satisfies my love for the technical side. But in late Sept 2010 I may have gotten over my head with a big AG beer. I am short on the proper equipment but I can make it work!

I had a few batches recently that have been skunked by light. Now that I have learned that lesson I have my self made "A Lil Sumpin Sumpin" inspired clone. Since I have worked most of the major kinks out I believe my friends and I will finally be able to enjoy consistently good beer.

Setup: Piece by piece precept upon precept improvement in my equipment, 5+ gal prim, new 5+gal secondary, 3 gal
