Use sugar, I do all the time. The one time I used molasses was in a beer, horrible mistake,
very sour! Sugar, aprox 3/4 cup per gal.

Your pool likely has just a little more chlorine than your tap water. Should not be an issue in

I don't think it's really clear to us what you did, and where the 4th fermentor got its

Ha, guess it's a dumper! Funny, made 4 batches, 2 apple wine, and I thought, 2 beer. I also
capped 100 bottles. Now in review, I know I wouldn't have had the time to complete the two
beers! Looks like...
