same happened to me. htought it was the power supply turned out to be stuck. I now pull it
apart after a brew, clean and let it dry before putting it back together again.

Pretty sure thats what its for. pop off the pastic hinge cover rmove the hinge, and I bet there
is a plug under there. There has to be a plug somewhere for that I vote unplug before hacking

as rccola said, I mixed it with my dry grain before tossing it all in my mash tun. It fully
converts to sugars. The wort is cloudy this freaked me out the first time,but all of that
clears in the ferm...

brewed this a couple times now thanks rccola. Not knowing how beersmith would calculate the

zachattack got it. a bit of keg lube helps a lot. Also if you let the o ring warm up a bit
before you spin it back on it will shrink back to its original size.
