I use a blowoff tube for all my ferments. Good piece of mind and don't have to worry about
drying out. Just make sure you switch to a sanitary air filter if you cold crash.

Fitted mine with triclamp and the sample port from morebeer and love them.

I got the Antwerp half price as it was expired at my LHBS. Starter got it revived and it
    fermented out great.

I just happen to have a belgian pale finishing up with Antwerp ale. My next brew was going to
be an alpine nelson clone. Should I go for it?

looks to be in good shape, just missing the lower grill plate. I plan to use it a a a ferm

Follow up question: will it be a problem for my 5 cubic chest freezer to hold hops and the
reservoir for the glycol. I.e will it cause it to thaw or over cycle? Thanks

How effective would a 5 gallon bucket of 40% glycol be in a chest freezer to be used with two 7
gallon Conicals with FTSS. I would want the ability to cold crash at 32F and I would be hooking
    the pump...

Leave it alone. The alcohol will protect the beer ... and you flushed with CO2.You want the

All is well! They are all gently thumping along. Especially the blueberry. The smell is amazing
funky fruit salad. Can't wait to get these on draft and in bottles.263739
