I for one, think that they are definitely worth the cost. I will be ordering one next month. I
have my doubts about the plastic buckets that I use because they tend to have an odor to them,

looks like the yellow would be 120v and the white common. you also need the capacitor hooked up

Does anyone see any problem with using a heat stick in combination with an induction burner? I

Yes, thicker is better for induction, there is more mass for the magnetic field, thus a better
coupling with the brewpot.
