9 years ago when I played paintball, I remember paying from $4.5-$6.5 to fill a twenty ounce
co2 tank. So 16 doesn't seem too bad to me. Unfortunately crumptons is pretty far from me. OP
    how long did ...

Does it seem ironic to be buying CO2 for your beer, when your beer gave off a ton of it during
fermentation? No, no, no....don't go and put logic into this lol

I paid 22 for a swap at Airgas. My aluminum tank was out of hydro date so I got an aluminum
replacement from them.Ironically I plan on filling at crumptons from now on to save a few
    bucks.Gah....doesn...

Anyone in the Tampa/St. Pete area have a good location to get tanks refilled? I recently had a
5# refilled at Crumpton's Welding Supply in Tampa, and they charged $16! Damn.

My LHBS sells refurbished ball lock corny kegs for $28.00 each in store, though I see they list
them for $37.00 online. They will mail order, but I'm not sure what they charge, as they don't

Hmm...just came home and tried the beer....it has a few little bubbles (and by little i mean
little), but absolutely ZERO head, even if you pour it straight to the bottom of the glass. I

ATM, 12psi. I kegged the beer Sat, and put 30psi on it, but unhooked the pressure line and let
it sit room temp overnight (not sure my thinking behind that at the time...I blame the damn
    Skeeter Pee)....

Does it *hurt* to have the faucet/tap hooked up while the beer is conditioning/carbing in the
fridge? I didn't really think abt it hooking everything up for the first round of kegging....

Hmmm......I guess the only real way to figure this one out is set it all up and see what the
hell happens. I just got the kegconnection.com 2 keg kit, so whatever length those beer lines
    are (6' I'm g...
