    ABOUT ME

  • I'm a Freelance Videographer, part time Chef and a rookie brewer. I just started brewing in February of 2011. Since my start I have become completely obsessed. Now all I do when I have free time is read about beer and window shop online. BEER HAS TAKEN OVER MY LIFE!! I'm ok with that.

My ABV I think was 7.4 but I had no off flavors or sourness. I think i finish at 1.010.
Defiantly try this recipe again though. When you get it right on your next batch you'll be

I don't know anything about water heaters. I just figured there would be parts that would be
valuable. So I can use the valve assembly? It is an electric water heater 40 gal whirlpool. Is
    there a ther...

an old water heater if any? Im guessing I can use the elements for my Ebrewery.

I used this recipe and just took a reading. It was down to 1.004 and tasted sour. Did I screw
it up or is that normal and will be fine in 8 months or so? Its about time to bottle but I
    don't want to w...

Its HWD, look at the watts per inch. This one is 154W/in that makes it high watt density, low
watt density or LWD should be 80 - 100ish, while ULWD should be about 50-60w/in. Chance of
    scorching incre...
