  • Extract brewer.
  • brewing beer,making meads,cordials and wines
  • Our family has a long history of home brewing. I inherted my Grandparents bottle capper and old pottery fermentation vessel. The pottery is now just used a decoration, but I still use the bottle capper.
After years of making wines, meads and cordials, I decided to keep the family history alive and make beer.
I mostly am a extract brewer due to time issues and work space. My very first beer was a Coopers Draught. Since then I have made a Belgian Dubbel, a Witbier, Irish red ale, and a scottish 80/-.
  • Next up to brew is a Chocolate milk stout and then it's experimantal time:
    coconut Ale
    Pineapple Ale
maybe some other tropical fruits. My plan is to show my tiki cocktail drinking friends that Beer can be just as tropical and refreshing.
  • nothing at the moment
  • Just bottled up the Scottich 80/- yesterday, so nothing in secondary. This is a sad first since I started brewing. I better get busy, eh?
  • I've bottled up all or some of everything listed above. I kegged most of the Dubbel and hope to keg all the tropical beers.

    water. Can't ...
