- My neighbor had a Mr.beer kit and after that it was over for me. I started researching equipment, recipes, how to's, everything I could find. About a month after we made the Mr.beer recipe i had bought my brewing equipment and brewed up 2 batches.

So I found a recipe and I dont understand some if the weight amounts. Im on my phone at the

Thanks Beertroll. I have read many threads and watched allot of videos on youtube. I also
watched a few of John Palmers videos and read his "How to brew". I think I only did 8 batches

I actually didnt try it until it had bottle conditioned for 4 weeks.Correction, I did try it
after 2 weeks and it was still a little tart. I can honestly say it got better with age.
