  • My neighbor had a Mr.beer kit and after that it was over for me. I started researching equipment, recipes, how to's, everything I could find. About a month after we made the Mr.beer recipe i had bought my brewing equipment and brewed up 2 batches.

    How dark does this beer turn out? I was thinking of doing this type with cherry and was
    curious.It's not to dark. It's definitely darker than a Hefeweisen

    I actually didnt try it until it had bottle conditioned for 4 weeks.Correction, I did try it
    after 2 weeks and it was still a little tart. I can honestly say it got better with age.
