I've used twist off bottles accidentally before. The cap was harder to attach. It seemed to
seal just fine. Didn't even notice until I opened the bottle. I don't make a habit of it

When making extract only batches, sometimes if you don't mix it well enough before taking the
gravity, the "Heavier" extract will stay the bottom wiht the thiner water at the top and it
could skew you...

I've never had a problem with it "ruining" counter tops. StarSan is great....Get a new 5 gallon
bucket (Homedepot, Lowes) 5 gallons of Distilled water and 1oz of StarSan...it will keep for
about 6 mon...

I dry hop in kegs and wrap the hops in cheesecloth, works great, easy to remove. Hell
sometimes, I'll just leave the hops in the keg and force carb it with the hops still in it.
