    ABOUT ME

  • I have been home brewing since 2008. I am still doing partial mash due to budget constraints but am looking forward to brewing all-grain someday.

  • A friend of mine and I started drinking craft beer at the Flying Saucer to get our plates on he wall. We eventually succeeded. It was also the place of my education about craft beer. Since then, my buddy and I began brewing our own beer. He has moved to Utah and I am now indoctrinating a new friend in the joys of home brewing. It has been fun and somewhat successful. I have found the more money I spend on equipment, the better my beer turns out!

i guess the other question is: does it matter whether i use aluminum or stainless as a brew
kettle? i know stainless is more durable but will it affect my beer?

Look at the engraving from the manufacturer. It will probably be 304 stainless.where would it
be located and would it say 304?

I like a cold Schmitz during a hot day or a poker game. It reminds me of my grandpa because
    that's all he drank.

I'm an Aggie; it's in my blood. I will say Gig 'Em no matter where I'm from. And no, I don't
    mean hook 'em.
