provided everything is sterile it will work but a good stir plate is the best. One downside of
continuous aeration could be evaporation.

It is unusual to make a starter with such a high OG. Stick to 100gms DME to 1000ml water which
will yield a little under 1.040.

Another thing to remember is that with dry yeast you do not need to aerate the wort.
