  • I ♥ Beer, especially homebrew. It started with tasting. For my 21st birthday, Mike, my now husband bought several different bottles of beer that we enjoyed at a campout. From there it went to buying any new that we could afford.

Eventually we depleted what we could taste in our area and price range. So Mike decided he wanted to give homebrewing a try. It wasn't long before I was helping with the whole process.

Just recently I've started brewing my own recipes. Though the best part about it is brewing together.

When we moved to Bismarck we decided to find or start a brew club. After finding the previous club hadn't meet in many years, we started the Muddy River Mashers.

I love being a part of the Muddy River Mashers. I've meet so many awesome people and learned a lot. It's encouraging to know there are others out there with the same passion as you.

    From the Mashers came
  • Imperial Stout - Oak Aged
  • Gallus Wee Heavy
    Assassin IPA
    1602 American Oatmeal Brown

I tried to sign up on the website, but just got a bunch of 500 errors, so I never got a
confirmation email. Hopefully I'll have a job and a place in town by then. Is there a LHBS in
    the area? Does any...

We just recently quit homebrewing, and we've got a lot of stock to sell off. Having survived
the great hop depression of 2007-2008, we were hop hoarders. Keep in mind that while some of
    the hops may b...

If you get through Bismarck, I could trade. I probably won't get to Fargo for a few weeks.

I stock the beer fridge at the company that I work for. I know who drinks Bud Light, who like's
IPA's, and so on. They've asked me to do a little tasting on St. Patrick's Day. My access to
    Irish beers...

A question I always ask during an interview is "Is this a new position or am I taking the place
of someone who left?" If it's a new position it probably means they are growing and that could

Thanks for all the great responses. There were some aspects I hadn't really thought about yet.
My husband has an opportunity to do this. I could more than likely keep my job and work from
    home. We're ...
