    and may be in the souteast region ....Highland Brewing Co. out of Asheville, NC has the
    *easiest* labels to remove that I've ever come across. they RARELY leave a residue on the
    outside of the bottle....

    (both?). new OG for first runnings is 1.035 (again supposed to be 1.061 post-boil). that's

    well the first runnings OG reading on my refractometer was 1.012 (the expected FG for the
    recipe). the expected OG was 1.061. well, at least i didn't waste the hops and yeast. thanks
    for the replies. ...
