    It's done, fresh pasteurized tamarind fruit, is now fermenting my hefeweisen. wish me luck.
    this sure sounds like a logical mix...hot on the tropics, hurricane season, i need to stock up
    on beer....lo...

    both are great...sometimes you have to use the one thats available... if it's clean your good
    to brew.

    i would suggest you to lower the temp to around 62fhow many pounds of DME did you use?I just
    made a hefeweisen and my original gravity 1.056 ended at around 1.014
