    It looks like your OG was .02 lower than it should be as well so maybe you just have a little
    extra water. It's fine.

    Are you adjusting the sg for the temp of the beer/wort? If it's done fermenting, that reading
    is only off by .02 - its most likely exactly where it should be :-)

    I didn't read the article but... my guess is this person just wants to make money doing
    something he is familiar with and by the sounds of it, he is accomplishing just that.
