Checked the gravity and it was the same as right before I put it in secondary and got it
lagering. Went ahead and bottled last night. Had a small sample, tasted pretty good so hoping
    for the best when...

I made a lager 7 weeks ago. Had it in primary @ 45F for 3 weeks and then moved it to a
secondary @ 35F for 4 weeks. The last week or so it has started bubbling again, but I was

carboy/bucket and still has a good amount of space for some bottles or other things. Right away
    I snagged a Johnson...

So small update... tried another one yesterday and it's definitely cleaned up a bit. No where
near as bitter as before, but still seems to be missing out on malty flavor. Head retention is
    pretty good...

I actually don't mind the flavor as I am that hop-head you speak of! My lady-friend did not
enjoy it one bit, though. I don't mind drinking it, but it does seem much more bitter/hoppier
    than expected/...

It will make a difference, but possibly not as much as you may think. Because the grain was
just steeped and not actually mashed there is not much conversion taking place. Let it ride and
    get fully ca...
