    ABOUT ME

  • Two home towns... that's right. I spend half my time in Ann Arbor where my family lives and my wife works, but I travel to Cheboygan and the north country, where we lived for 15 years, for my own work... and play. Spend my spare time fly fishing and grouse hunting, and, umm, brewing as of a month ago. Hoping to turn the basement of the Cheboygan house into a brewry next summer.

I did Adventures in Homebrewing's (www.homebrewing.org, click on recipe kits and you'll find
it) Bells Best Brown Clone kit for my first batch and thought it turned out great despite
    numerous mistakes...

I would bet the success of ovals, elipses, and circles has to do with the curvature of the
bottle and some sort of asthetic flow. 90% of the labels that I've designed are circular in
    nature.

The Red Ale is bottled and about ready, so I'll be labeling tomorrow. The Brown is going in
    bottles on Friday night.

This one is for a chocolate stout that I'll be bottling in a few weeks.

This label is for my SWMBO... I told her I was going to brew a beer for her, and she said that
she wanted a cool label. She's likes to listen to vinyl records so I figured this was perfect.
