+1 on 1/2 ", but it really only matters on the suction side. You don't want to starve the pump
or run the pump dry.

I highly recommend following the bcs web site and look at the examples given. It's definitely
easier to use manual first and then move into writing states.

Do yourself a favor and do a test run with the chugger pumps all the way up to the temperature
