I currently have a Sanyo mini fridge that I converted to a kegerator and I plan to put it into
a bar that I'm installing in our basement. If the Sanyo ever dies and I need a replacement, I
    want to mak...

I lost 10gal of good beer because of an infection because I was too lazy to properly clean the
kegs. A carboy and/or keg cleaner would allow even a lazy person like myself to properly clean.

Just finished up 10gal of a Lady Liberty cream ale. Loosely based on the Weed Picker recipe in

Busy beer day for me. Brewed 12 gal of BMer's Sterling Gold (was shooting for 11gal, but ended
up with an extra gallon). Kegged 10gal of an Amarillo Pale Ale. And I also built a jockey box
    for Memoria...

I used my 30 plate chiller for the first time today (I got it as a Christmas present, but had
to wait until the snow melted in MN to brew outside). It was so much better than my old CFC! I
    used to hav...

The snow has finally melted in MN! I'm brewing up 10 gal of BierMuncher's Cream of 3 Crops for
    Memorial Day weekend.

For what it's worth, I bought my SQ14 from home depot and the packaging sounds very similar to
yours. The box was all beat up and just a few nuts and bolts in the bottom of the box. And I've
    never see...

  • Posted in thread: Bayou SQ-14 question on 11-08-2010 at 04:15 PM
That's definitely not normal. I've used my SQ-14 to bring over 14gal of wort to a boil in MN
last January when it was well below zero. If it's not the OPD, make sure you have the air
    intake adjusted s...
