I just made something similar. But I added cherries later. Five gallon chocolate milk stout.
Fermented for three weeks. Bottled a bunch of bombers of just that and then added about four
    pounds of cher...

I'm a fan of Payette in Boise. There are two places in Eastern Oregon that I recommend:
Terminal Gravity in Enterprise and Barley Brown's in Baker City. Never actually been to either

this.Did anyone do it?I was thinking of starting with some oak chips soaked in chardonnay,

I have some cascade to get rid of. I wonder if upping the 10 min by an ounce would radically
change things?I doubt you would notice much - just ups the IBUs a bit.

This method certainly makes a ton of sense. To re-ask a question, flavors from first beer's
yeast cake don't really impact on the second beer?I have a brown ale stuck at 1.021 that I used
    Windsor Ale ...

I keep thinking back to the Can You Brew It episode on Lagunitas IPA. Brewer said they mash
that at 160. That's gotta be part of this one, too. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew
