  • Like many, I had a Mr. Beer kit many years ago. I made a couple batches but nothing too impressive. I eventually bought a beginner homebrewing kit with the bucket and carboy and I made a Porter. The beer was good but then I fell away from brewing for about 5 years...

About two years ago I got talking to a coworker about brewing and he inspired me to break out the bucket and do some easy extract recipe kits. The beers were better than my previous attempts and I got hooked.

I recently got my all-grain setup together. I use a 60qt cooler and a turkey fryer (new brewpot is in the mail). I have a Barley Crusher and 100 lbs of two row ready for my next batches.

  • I have two taps on the "Punk Rock Beer Fridge." One tap is a pumpkin ale, the other is a pale ale made with locally grown Cascade hops that I picked at the farm.
