    I would let the soda go flat before you add the yeast. I would have to say you would end up
    with a pretty disgusting alcoholic beverage. I would use a wine yeast so it's more tolerant.

    Personally, whenever I used to make batches with cans like that, I would use two cans and never
    follow the instructions with the kits. Follow a good brew books instructions. That's just my
    opinion tho...
