  • Lots of home brewing with a friend during medical school, best brew was the Daplebach we spent a year on for graduation. Very good.
  • Working on getting Cider right. We have lots of apples here and it is shame to see them not be used to their full potential. Also brewing plum wine, strawberry wine, and blueberry wine. Lots of these grow on the island, so make good use of the fruits of the land.

    I have another 3 kg of plums in the freezer and will order yeast specific for mead to ferment

    Sorry to have left out details.I went with wild fermentation as a lark. The yeast that I had on
    hand was Coopers Ale and Lavlin K1V1116 whic I used for the plum wine. i used 1.5 kg of plums
    per gallon...
