you really take hydro readings every day... even during active fermentation? Or are those
simply estimates based on the OG and FG and the time span in between?I'd be a little freaked to

sounds like an infection... happened to the first batch I made with my friend earlier this
year. Do you happen to see a ring at the top of the fluid levels inside your bottles by chance?

Brew up some Apfelwein and see what she says ;). You may get off the hook for the fermenting

It fermented like devil's water... was incredible. Thank goodness I used a blowoff tube for the

Well... just as an update: Brew day was on Saturday... nice hour long boil, quick chill (about
15 minutes), got wort in carboy... shook it up really good, shook my e-flask starter which
