    Should I cover my hops? We are getting a surprise frost tonight in Tennessee.Same here up in
    Kentucky. I cover mine up. Just drape a sheet over them.

    I've used the paracord. This will be a good experiment at least. This stuff is strong to say

    Derby,Once they shoot a bine above ground they will take off quickly. As soon as they are tall
    enough to reach some twine you should cut the plant back to the 4 healthest bines and start
    training them...
