    ABOUT ME

  • My father got me into micro brews. There was almost never a time (except for family parties) that there was a commercial brew in the fridge. Over the past few years I started thinking it would be really cool to brew my own beer. After seeing two or three people within a month posting pictures of their first homebrew on facebook I ordered my first homebrew kit on impulse. After two brews I was hooked.

The ice tray shelf is also the cooling "element". You can release it from the sides and bend it
back to flush with the back of the fridge, but it's riskiest bit of the whole job. I've done it
    on my ke...

Might have missed it, but are the returns on fans as well? A total of 4 fans, 2 in each
chamber? There are only two fans. One on each supply. I mounted them inside each chamber to get
    them out of the w...

It is the return for the cheese chamber. In order for the damper to function properly it needed
to sit vertically and couldn't be placed directly in the floor of the chamber.

The draft blockers do a great job of keeping any unwanted air flow from one chamber to another
when the fans are not running. Since each chamber is controlled by its own temp controller i

Initially I was using a mini fridge with an ebay temp controller as a fermentation chamber.
Once I decided to brew a lager I realized that my nice temperature controlled space was going

While cold crashing a batch a few months ago I was having a lot of trouble with suck back. I
