Give them a sniff. If you smell root beer, you will likely be investing in extra parts. Darned
    near impossible to get out.

I can imagine a tippy dump or maybe a larger port on the kettle to enable rinse-to-drain. Maybe
having the CIP pump (probably a sump pump) sit in a bucket as a reservoir with a strainer
    around it.Than...

It doesn't always get a lot of love, but WLP 830 is rock solid. 833 is excellent as well, but I
have had more consistent results with 830.

The one thing I didn't read in anybody's posts is that you need to know your boil off rate. If

    already have the...

Welcome from an intrastate transfer 80 miles to your east.

No creep intended, but Texas isn't like some of the more eastward states---kind of a large
landmass. So, generally, in what part of the state are you "stuck"? Austin area, Houston area,
    San Antonio ar...

It might just need more lagering. Just give it a few more weeks to let the yeast continue to
drop. Also, purge the first couple of pints so you're not pickup up too much yeast. This is my
    guess. I brew...
