I have virtually the same setup and sometimes I heat my mlt water up to strike temp while I
setup other gear and crush grain etc. A much more efficient way is to put 1 gallon of strike
water in the ml...

I did the same thing many years ago. Can barely and I mean BARELY do a 10 gallon AG batch in
it. I complained about it for many years and now it is my HLT and I bought a 20 gallon kettle

I made mine in a red metal roofing toolbox I got for Christmas when I was about 12. Never
became a roofer, but it made a great RIMS box!
