Thanks Yoop! I had a feeling the LME being hopped was the fly in the ointment. I think I will
increase the volume of the boil and then stir in the extract(s). Any suggestions on the timing
of the hops...

I experimented with capping a twist off bottle once. Result: Broken bottle AND broken bottle
capper. Stick with the pop offs, you can't go wrong.

Thanks Colorado! That sets my mind at ease. And duly noted on sanitizing. The stir paddle was
