The table is only 28" x 18" so it's not huge; I'll try the dolly to get the carboys or buckets
up to the minimum 8" height. Should work. Can't wait! No more 3 gallons for me!

So has anyone used the Foreverlast Tripod Game Hoist and what are your comments? I'm 5'2" 100
lbs & working out of my kitchen; just purchased a hydraulic lift table $150 from Harbor Freight
    (if I can ...

Thanks Aiptasia & everyone else! Love the idea of the removable liner and will probably do that
down the road. Being new at this, I like to watch the krausen; so it's glass at the moment.
    Also I've be...

Has anyone checked out globalindustrial.com for the wesco mini-winch stacker? It's pricey but
it's the only thing I've found to lift those heavy carboys. Haven't bought yet.

I like! So what about the empty head room in the 5 gal carboy? Do I need to do the primary in
the bucket & transfer after the initial krausen explosion into a 3 gal carboy or is that air
    space bad in ...

OK, my son walked me through my first oatmeal stout. Loved it! Getting ready to do another
without the mistakes I made with the first. I only weigh 100 lbs and I'm gettin' old so I don't
    want to lift ...

The tank is a co2 tank, not a keg. I don't know what a corny keg is yet; I'm just trying to
figure out how much life insurance I need or if I need it at all.

Both my son & I brew - I'm into wine & he's into everything! I'm getting a little gun shy due
to his alarming success in exploding things. I'm short so getting up to the ceiling to clean is
    difficult ...
