    fwiw, Blichmann positions the tips of their bg14 burners 2-3/4" below the top of the pot rest

    Not neccesarily, the wider burner will disperse a lot of heat. Just don't think that you have
    to have the big bad 30psi regulator, a much smaller one will work just fine and will likely
    give you a bro...
