Braaaiins! from Spring House Brewing is the only one I really like. I haven't had Pumpking but
I've heard that they're similar. I hope to try that one this year.I have a bottle of Tröegs'

I really like Windsor. Everyone else seems to prefer S04, but I'm not crazy about that. Just
have to try them both and see what your preference is. Neither will ruin your beer.

Your mashing plan sounds pretty good but I'd add a whole lot more hops at flameout and/or for
    dry hopping.

I have such a love affair with budweiser. Much like an affair, I tend to hide our love when in

  • Posted in thread: Adding fruit to secondary. To do or not to do. on 08-07-2013 at 08:07 PM
I added peach puree to secondary for a peach pale ale and it turned out delicious. It was very
cloudy and a little pulpy... not the prettiest beer but that's okay. The sugar in the peaches

  • Posted in thread: What should I do with this defective plastic carboy? on 06-19-2013 at 01:59 AM
I jumped on Midwest's buy one get free deal for plastic carboys the other week. When my two six
gallon carboys showed up, I was distraught to find this: were very good about replacing it,
    but they ...

This was my lineup for a family get together over Memorial Day weekend.

I am sending my Dad to give out samples. This sounds like a great idea, but also seems very
poorly planned, it was just announced three weeks before it's happening and I already have
    plans that night....
