I was given an entire brewing supply from a guy that was getting out of the hobby for free. I read up as much as i can, and still as a dummy brewed my first batch as a double batch in 1 day by myself.
Man that was to much work for someone new, both batches turned out like crap. I cleaned everything but i think the mistake i made was the siphon hoses were old and dirty. I upgraded to an auto siphon and new hoses.
My 3rd batch(2nd time brewing) was a Pumpkin ale. Turned out OK, finally my 4th batch was a DUNKELWEIZEN kit i won from my brew club (C.R.A.F.T) and it turned out great.
Recently upgraded 2 mash tuns(5 and 10 gallon) and a 35' Wort chiller.
Also got 2 refrigerators free that were perfect for 1 1/2 barrel or 3 corney's. Picked up some 4 Perlik faucets and just about complete. -
