  • I decided to start brewing at the end of 2011 and mentioned to my friend that I was planning on gathering equipment and starting off simple. Apparently, Fort Collins Brewery had donated 2 full kegs to the Co-Op he runs and he was in just the right mood to say, "No! take all of mine!" So I'm in the process of building my equipment onto what he drunkenly gave me, and what I assumed he meant borrow, and trying to get a lot of DIY projects involved in the process.

    I don't have much experience but with the help of others and learning from my mistakes, my brews will get better. And a hobby that can produce that kind of optimism is one that I can stick with.

    My first brew was successful; it was a simple pale ale partial mash. It came out great I thought.

    Played a couple shows with this guy Pat the Bunny. I've been listening to his newest band
    lately, Ramshackle Glory. Can't beat his stuff from Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains though..

    Not sure if you've heard of this Co-Op, but they have a plasma cutter there. My friend owns it
